Our DVDs are burned on DVD-R discs using a Pioneer DVR-A04 DVD Recordable Drive. In general, if you own a DVD player that was made in the last few years, you should have no problems with these discs. Even if you have an older model DVD player, you may still be able to play these discs. We will do what we can to help with incompatability issues, but generally our advice would be to buy a new DVD player if you are having trouble. DVD players are generally cheap now, and you will probably be able to get a progressive scan unit with the best quality picture for modern high-definition TVs. We have tested our DVDs out on a number of DVD players however, and it might be useful for potential viewers to see the results of these tests. The list below indicates all the models we have tired, all of which have played our DVD. If you have another model that either plays (or doesn't play) one of our DVDs, please let us know and we will add the results to our list.

If you need to purchase a new DVD player, we have found that the Sony model DVP-NS315 (DVD-R, DVD-RW, and MP3 playback) is an excellent choice and plays everything we have created on both DVD-R and DVD-RW discs. For even more compatibility, and progressive scan capability, we recommend the Sony model DVP-NS725P (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, and MP3 playback). We have been very impressed by this player due to the fact that it even removes the small disruptions in audio that are picked up by other players.
