Just a quick msg to let you know we also had the first snow last Sunday morning, accumulating to 9cm on the ski slopes and all over above 4500ft elevation.
Obviously, not a big deal and certainly not skiable with our rocky terrain, but it is a good sign - whenever we had snow before the end of November it turned out to be a great season (Nov 02, snow on the 9th, 2.5meters by February, Nov 03 snow by the 7th, 2.9m by March). Keeping fingers crossed for the rest of the season!
I have attached a webcam shot as well, taken from the webcam located at the chalet on the base lodge. By good fortune they turned the webcam up only one week ago...
